Gurpreet Singh is a Field Manager at NCAER’s National Data Innovation Centre (NDIC). He specialises in primary data collection and field management. His main skill sets are in the areas of survey research, including interviewer training, experimental research and designing, and conduction of interviews. He has earlier worked as Project Officer for the project, Mahindra Mobile Primary Health and Cancer Care Unit at Global Cancer Concern, Chandigarh; and in the roles of Survey Supervisor and Programme Manager for several primary data collection projects for various organisations including Centre de Sciences Humaines, Embassy of France, New Delhi; Indian Society for Applied Research & Development; Department of Welfare, Government of Punjab; and International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Administration and History from Punjabi University, Patiala; and a Correspondence Masters in Sociology from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu.
