Anupma Mehta is Editor at NCAER. She is also overseeing all communication activities for IHDS and NCAER’s National Data Innovation Centre (NDIC). Her responsibilities entail editing and preparation of all project-related documents including Annual Reports, proposals, working papers, policy briefs, newsletters, online content and published literature brought out by NCAER. She publishes updates and articles on NCAER research in national dailies and other media. In addition, she writes and edits content for external and internal communications for dissemination among stakeholders, clients and staff members. She has earlier worked as Editorial Associate for the social science journals, The Indian Journal of Labour Economics, Indian Journal of Human Development and Journal of Social Inclusion Studies. She has undertaken editing assignments for research organisations, publishing houses, UN bodies, PSUs, and the social sector. She has also published articles and syndicated columns in various dailies including Hindustan Times, Business Standard, The Pioneer, Financial Express, Mid-Day, and The Tribune. She has a BA (English Literature) from Lady Shri Ram College, an MA in English Literature from Delhi University, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Communications, Advertising and Public Relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.
